Peek Inside the Walls of the Stake Center
Here is a little peek inside the walls of the stake center...literally. Once the walls go up you'll never be able to see this maze of pipes, boards, fittings, and wires ever again.
I'll post more pics are soon as the walls go up!

While Most of Us Are Sleeping...
Early risers are few.
And some of those rare "few" early risers are working hard inside our stake center to get it ready for us to move back in.
This picture was taken at 6am. Most of us would rather be sleeping, but these guys were already hammering, installing, adjusting, building and working hard.
Thank you!!

Stake Center Landscaping
It's spring! And the landscaping is going in this week all around the Rose Park North Stake Center. As you drive by you may be able to notice tiny shrubs and sticks in the ground. Over the next few months the landscaping will begin to take shape. We may even see grass soon!
Here's a sampling of the plants.

Social Hall Doors
Do you remember (I know it's been a long time!) back when we used to have parties and lunches in the Social Hall? Well, remember how there weren't any doors on the north side, so if you were carrying a large platter of ham in one hand, a tossed green salad in the other hand with a Jell-o balanced on top, you had to go in the east or west doors?
Well, problem solved! Now we have two beautiful new north doors that will allow you to park on the north and enter on the north side. You can bring your ham, salad, Jell-o, funeral potatoes, green beans, chocolate cakes, pulled pork, crescent rolls, root beer, ice cream and families all through these beautiful north side Social Hall doors.
Provided someone remembers to bring keys to unlock the doors. :)

Mystery Picture: What's in the Boxes?
Any ideas what these boxes contain? Maybe someone with HVAC knowledge can enlighten us.
I'm pretty sure the boxes don't contain hymnbooks or nursery toys. They look industrial. Maybe metal pipes or fittings or electrical parts.
Although, they could also fit 10 lb slabs of dark chocolate.
Or milk chocolate.
